Bridget Williams

I have been making and teaching pottery for the last three decades...

I principally make wheel-thrown slip decorated domestic earthenware pottery, ranging from large platters, bowls and teapots to tiny cups, saucers and egg cups. These forms are decorated with coloured slip under a transparent glaze. Designs include polka dots and abstract shapes to more pictorial motifs such as birds, fish and other animals...

I also make more unique hand built vessels based on natural forms which are usually smoke fired and I am happy to produce commissioned work for special occasions such as christenings, birthdays and weddings...

I am a member of Gloucestershire Guild and I am also available for teaching workshops with children and adults of all abilities and also organise pottery parties, hen parties and other clay-related events...
